Nightjar is a small design-build studio based in Kirkland. The designer who measures your yard stays on the project through the night walk, when the lights are aimed.
How we work
- Site visit. We walk the yard with you, look at slope, drainage, sun and access, and give you a range before you pay for design. That keeps nobody guessing.
- Concept plan. A drawn plan of rooms, paths and lighting zones, with a revised range. You see the yard on paper before you commit to the build.
- Final design and fixed price. Construction drawings, plant list, lighting plan and a written price. Change orders are rare because the hard questions were answered on paper.
- Build. One project lead and our own crew. Drainage and wiring go in before stone and plants, so nothing gets dug up later.
- Night walk and care. We come back after dark to aim the lights, then visit each season to check fixtures, timers and planting.
